Nothing beats a night spent on the beach, watching the stars, and feeling your own emotions burst and explode inside you, ey?
That's just what we did. Spent the night soaking in the midnight breeze, and tasting the salty air with our own tongues. The stars were up, brighter than ever, lighting up the sky, dazzling me. We strolled at Bedok Jetty around 2am and eventhough it was chilly, I felt safe with so many people around me, enjoying the atmosphere too. We got a little scared halfway because when we went back to our place, the trees were already covering most of the lights and in its place, there it was, an eerie-looking yellow crescent, so close to Earth.
Slowly, we walked back to civilisation to enjoy an early scrumptious breakfast with a nice drag of a menthol to end the day. I was home exactly at 6:35am. Eventhough I missed sleep, and had to walk for more than an hour the entire journey, it was a night well spent.
