Switzerland was my favourite because it was nice to get away from all the hustle and bustle from the city. The long train ride from Paris was worth it. Bern was a small quiet and quirky town which captured my heart from the very start. So we visited one of the churches and the Swiss Bear!!!! Cutest thing ever!!! Interlaken was next and the landscapes was beautiful. I feel absolutely amazing standing infront of the Swiss Alps, trying to soak in every inch of the mountains into my brain. Fucking breath-taking is a good way to describe how it feels. Our hotel was this totally old wooden one, and there we had a four course dinner 2 nights in a row. There was so much food! Haha k then the next day we went to one of the alps, Mt Jungfrau, for the sledging activity. We were surrounded by white by the time we got to the peak! However, something bad happened when me, my sister and my mother fell off a steep slope while sledging. It was scary. Sis got cuts and bruises and Emak fractured her spine when she hit an ice block. I tried to help Emak up but it was hard because the snow was knee deep and the blizzards from other mountains were starting to hit me hard. All I could do is to stop the blizzard from reaching Emak while waiting for the helicopter to get her to the hospital. Thank God there were kindred souls who stopped to help. We had to skip Zurich because Emak had to stay in Interlaken Hospital for 2 nights. Well, my perception of Switzerland hasn't changed eventhough that incident happen. When nature calls, there's nothing we could do. Things are bound to happen, and eventhough they're shitty.
